Features may include:

• The GreenStar™ Rate Controller Dry provides the ability for the GreenStar 3 2630, CommandCenter™ 4600/4200 and Universal 4640/4240 Displays to integrate with self-propelled and pull-type dry box spinner spreaders. The GreenStar Rate Controller Dry eliminates the need of a separate third-party controller to operate the dry box equipment and reduces clutter in the cab.

• The equipment configuration, product setup, calibrations, and operation are integrated by the controller onto the GreenStar 3 2630, CommandCenter 4600/4200 and Universal 4640/4240 Displays. This integration provides customers and agricultural service providers the ability to use their Precision Ag Technology products for guidance and control of dry product applications.

• The GreenStar Rate Controller Dry is compatible with John Deere Section Control to minimize overlaps, reduce input costs, and decrease operator fatigue. With John Deere Section Control enabled, the GreenStar 3 2630, CommandCenter 4600/4200 and Universal 4640/4240 Displays will automatically shut off the product metering systems when the machine travels into an area that has previously been applied or defined by interior/exterior boundaries.

• The GreenStar Rate Controller Dry supports the documentation of up to four product applications on the GreenStar 3 2630 Display five products on the CommandCenter 4600 or Universal 4640 displays. They can also be configured to run map-based prescriptions for variable rate applications. The GreenStar Rate Controller Dry is able to run a separate prescription for each of the product applications simultaneously.

• The GreenStar Rate Controller Dry is compatible with competitive multi-tank air carts. The Rate Controller Dry can now be configured as an air cart implement type and eliminates the need for a third-party controller. GreenStar Rate Controller Dry is capable of controlling up to four tanks and monitors up to two fans. The GreenStar 3 2630, CommandCenter 4600/4200 or Universal 4640/4240 Displays then serves as the operator interface that controls the product application with the air cart.

• This document lists all the compatible equipment approved with the latest GenOS software and is subject to change with newer software updates. To ensure complete and proper compatibility, the most current version of implement control unit software, G5 or Generation 4 display software, and compatible farm management information software (FMIS) should be used. Non-current software versions will require an update before support can be provided.

• Similarly, unapproved software version configurations will not be supported. Please note that the 17-2 software release was the last update that was compatible with 4600 CommandCenter™ displays with v1 processors. All software released after 17-2 are not compatible with 4600 CommandCenter display with v1 processors, these updates are compatible with like displays with v2 processors.
